SIR ProgramsMarket conditions in California and Nevada have made Contractors G.L. our largest product line. We have a number of admitted and non-admitted markets for both residential and commercial contractors. Some of the types of contractors we handle:
Artisans - Smaller ones (less than $1,000,000 in receipts) are handled by our General Agency division utilizing in house binding facilities. Larger ones are brokered to our many markets.
Residential - We write many classes of residential contractors, including subcontractors, generals, and developers. We can place annual policies, project policies, or even wrap-ups. We have a couple of semi-exclusive facilities. Risks that don't fit these programs may be eligible to be quoted in one of our other markets. No other wholesaler has more residential construction markets than Lemac. Why submit an account to one of our competitors if they cannot cover the whole market? Who needs the extra work? Using Lemac first for your residential construction accounts means you can blanket the market and block out your competition from getting a quote from a market other wholesalers can’t approach. The market for this class of business is constantly changing, so it is best to contact your Lemac account executive for the latest market conditions.
Specialty Contractors - we place may different types of specialty contractors including street and road, water and sewer, crane and rigging, and paving and utility contractors. Often times we can include pollution coverage.
Oil & Gas/Energy - This has long been one of our specialties. We have a large book of this business, mostly oil field service contractors of all sizes and types.
