New Residential Contractors Market at Lemac & Associates
 

LOS ANGELES, CA - … We are pleased to announce a new market for residential contractors in California with a minimum premium that won't put your insureds in bankruptcy! This market has a Best's rating of A VIII, is nonadmitted and is targeting "fit and finish" contractors such as:

• Cabinet Contractors
• Carpentry (finish)
• Electrical
• Fencing
• Floor Covering
• Painting
• Steel Work (ornamental)
• Tiling
• Masonry

Tract work is acceptable, although they will look very closely at the general contractors with whom the insured is working. No multi-unit dwelling/condominium/townhome work is acceptable. They will not accept insureds who have been in business for less than 5 years. The minimum premium is $25,000 and the maximum limits available are 1/2/1.

Submission requirements are:

1. Acord Application
2. A company specific Contractors Questionnaire (contact your Lemac account representative for a copy)
3. Currently valued loss runs for the past 5 years
4. Job List

Coverage will be limited to the work described in the application, so it is imperative that the Questionnaire be filled out fully and correctly by the insured.

This market is not available to all wholesalers. As we have said before, no one has more residential construction markets than Lemac. We look forward to receiving your submissions.
