GEORGE LUKA - Vice President
George is a native of Chicago who spent a few summers of his youth as a Chicago Cubs batboy. A veteran, he graduated with honors from California State University, Sacramento with a B.A. degree. He began his insurance career in 1977 with the Insurance Company of North America. INA enrolled him in their underwriting school in Philadelphia, after which he assumed his duties as a package underwriter in their L.A. office. George was soon promoted to Senior Underwriter, before transferring over to the Marketing Department where he attained the position of Senior Marketing Representative. In 1981 George was employed by a large specialty Workers' Compensation carrier in California. He stayed there for several years attaining the position of marketing manager in the Los Angeles area. George joined Lemac & Associates Los Angeles office in October, 1991 and was promoted to Assistant Vice President in March, 1994. He has continued to utilize his knowledge of and contacts in the Workers' Compensation business. He has also developed a book of surplus lines property and casualty accounts. In early 1996, he transferred to our Orange County office. He continued to expand his book of business and due to his success was promoted to Vice President in December, 1996. |
