JAMES S. KENNEDY - Vice President
Mr. Kennedy is a New Jersey native who received his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He began his career in the reinsurance intermediary business with Reinco Intermediaries as an accounting assistant to the Chief Accountant Treaty Reinsurance. A year later he was transferred to their Los Angeles office so that he could start on a career path to become a broker. He started as an assistant broker working with the Branch Manager in the development and placement of property facultative reinsurance, and soon developed his own following and book of business. In 1988, Jim entered the wholesale broking side of the business by joining Swett & Crawford as an assistant broker. Again, he quickly developed a following and book of business, and in 1992 was promoted to broker. In 1996 he was again promoted, this time to Assistant Vice President. He joined Lemac & Associates' Los Angeles office in August, 1997 as a broker specializing in property. He has developed a very diverse book of business, including Earthquake/DIC, Fire, Excess Property, Builders Risk, Ocean Marine, Inland Marine and large Workers Compensation accounts. Jim was promoted to Vice President in 2003. |
