ROBERT F. BROOKS - Assistant Vice President

Mr. Brooks graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He began his insurance career with Safeco in their Customer Service Department. He obtained his Property and Casualty License and worked directly with the public on behalf of many appointed agents handling their back office operations. In 1993 he moved into the large Commercial Department as an Underwriter Trainee and participated in an intensive training program. Training included Property, General and Umbrella Liability, Auto, and Worker’s Compensation. Following the completion of the training program he worked as a Package Underwriter in Safeco’s Fountain Valley Office. In 1997 Mr. Brooks joined the Newport Beach office of Chubb & Sons in their Technology unit as a Package Underwriter. During his term with Chubb & Sons he underwrote various types of Technology as well as Life Sciences and Biotech risks. His extensive training included various ongoing in house Errors and Omissions courses as well as training performed by the University of Medical and Dental, NJ in Biotechnology. In 2002 he was promoted to Underwriting Officer and became the Newport Beach Life Sciences Specialist. In 2003 he joined Atlantic Mutual as an Underwriting Specialist handling all of the San Diego Territory. Lines of business included Property, Liability, Umbrella liability, Auto, and Worker’s Compensation. Types of business included Technology, Food, Metal Working, Plastic Manufacturing, Printers and other various classes of business. He joined Lemac & Associates, Inc. in January of 2004 as a Broker specializing in Casualty.
